August 30, 1927  - September 13, 2015
Marion passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years in the North Shore Hospice. She was born in Mossbank Saskatchewan to Barbara and Lurie Polzin. She was  predeceased by her husband Don, son Scott, and brothers Carl and Bert.  She is survived by her sons Mark (Jean) of West Vancouver, and Dean (Marya) of Calgary, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Arnold (Rhoda) and Raymond (Audrey), sisters-in-law Trudy and Pat and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was a beautiful person in every way, who faced life’s challenges with courage and strength, good humor and grace. She always considered the needs of others before her own. She saw the dignity and brought out the good in everyone.  She was an independent spirit and an intrepid explorer, always interested in new developments in the world around her. She loved driving, hiking the seawall, visiting with friends and family, and a nice cup of tea. Easy and engaging in conversation, she charmed young and old with her wit, wisdom and unfailing kindness.  She was a marvellous lady, a queen among women and a delight to all who knew her.  She will be dearly missed."
