THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that, whereas the above bounden J.C. Blunderfield has this day applied to the Clerk of the County of Pulaski, for a License authorizing the solemnization of the Rite of Matrimony between the said J.C. Blunderfield and Miss Laura Black.

“Mrs. Margaret Blunderfield - Margaret Mae, daughter of John and Eliza Ellenberger Snowden, was born March 9, 1863, in Pennsylvania, while her father was serving in the Union army during the Civil War.
At nine years of age she moved to Kansas with her parents, where she grew to womanhood.  She taught her first Sunday school class in the Solomon Methodist church, where she was a member, at the age of 14.
She was married January 2, 1882 to George F. Blunderfield.  They became members of the Brethren church at Buckeye, north of Abilene.  Two sons, Nelson and Lester, and two daughters, Pearl and Lola, came to bless their home.
They moved to McPherson 33 years ago this month where they made their church home at the First Church of the Brethren.  Her husband preceded her in death 15 years ago.
Beside her immediate family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is survived by one brother, William Snowden of Junction City.  She also leaves nieces, nephews and numerous friends.”."
