In a document I have entitled 'An  Account of Loddon Inglos Manor and of Blundeville's Manor in Newton Flotman' (Author and date unknown), it is stated that Francis and Alice's sons Robert and Thomas were twins, although Thomas is described as the eldest son (possibly born first). This statement about them being twins is supported by the fact that they were  baptised together at Heckingham on the 30th August 1736. However, they both died in infancy.

It appears that the family moved (or changed their church), as their next three children Sarah, Thomas and Rachel were baptised at Loddon.
