There is a degree of uncertainty as to the correctness of the Mary White documented here, as there were several with that name in the area at that time.

The two witnesses of her marriage to Robert Blunderfield were William and Elizabeth Smith, possibly a brother and his wife or sister. The parent's of this Mary White were David White and his wife Anne (nee Smith).

She appears as a widow in the 1841, 51 and 61 census (her husband Robert died in 1833). She was living in the Rows, a poor area in Great Yarmouth. In the 1871 census, she was in Yarmouth Workhouse. She was still in the workhouse when she died in January 1877. All census entries and the burial register show her as just Mary, however the burial register and GRO index show her as Mary Ann.

The Census entries record her place of birth as Langley in Norfolk, which is at odds with the baptism record selected. However, there is no baptism record for her in the Langley registers.
