Both Blomefield [History of Norfolk Vol 10 Pg159] and Copinger [Manors of Suffolk Vol 5 Pg4]  confuse this Sir Henry with Sir Henry his father, particularly with regard to the marriage with Anne Gyney. Richardson [Magna Carta Ancestry Pg214] appears to present it correctly. There is also a record (see Scrapbook for image) in The History and Antiquities of the County of Rutland - Pickworth (Page 106) which gives the name of Sir Henry's first wife as Amicia, next to whom he wished to be buried in the Presbytery of the Priory, Horsham St Faith. Sir Henry's second wife similarly chose to be buried alongside her first husband, Sir William Bowet.

In 1424, Henry Inglose appoints Richard Bowell as Rector of St Laurence, Beeston.
In 1428, Sir Henry Inglose and 'Amy' his wife appoint Reginald Peper as Rector (suggests that he was knighted between   1424 and 1428)
In 1439, Sir Henry Inglose and Ann his wife (in right of the manor of Smalburgh) appoint Henry Droughelyn as Rector.

Lord of the manor of Bokenham-Ferry in 1447. Henry's will of 1450 orders it to be sold and so his son, Robert Inglose Esq. and his wife Alianora, convey it and the manor of Hasingham to William Norwich in 1456.

Sir Henry Inglose, knt. died in 1451 possessed of lands in Haveland, Dilham, Loddon and Washingford, in Norfolk; and Ashby in Suffolk.; of the manors of Haverland, Brandeston, Cawston, Bokenham-Ferry, North Walsham, Helmingham (called Bryan's), Rackheath, Hoothgate, Mundham (called Mauclerk's), and Sprowston in Norfolk;  Gunton and Hopton in Suffolk; and Pykworth in Rutlandshire.

Amicia died before 1422. She was buried in Presbytery of the Priory, Horsham St Fath, Norfolk. Amicia married Sir Henry INGLOSE-I2001 #.

In her will, Elizabeth, calling herself or being described as 'gentlewoman', desired to be buried in the Lady Chapel of Norwich Cathedral. The only church she left money to for repairs was St Clement in Conesford, Norwich (the Paston family townhouse was very close to this church). The two executors of her will were Henry Hall, rector of a church in Great Melton and John Blakeston, the 'Boteler' of (Isobel) Lady Morley who lived in Norwich around that time.

No Blomvills (or variants of the name) appear in her will.

William de BLUNVILL [Parents]-B2101 # was born in From 1317 to 1324 in Newton Flotman?, Norfolk. He died after 1372.

In 1334, he was still under age and in ward to Eve, daughter of Sir John Clavering, who presented to the Rector of Newton Flotman as guardian.
In 1346, he was returned as holding a 1/4 fee in Newton Flotman.
He granted land in Bury St Edmunds 12 Mar 1357/8, to Sir Ralph de Bocking, Knt., by a deed sealed with his arms  'Quarterly, per fess indented, over all a bendlet' (These are heraldic terms and describe the Arms) and with the inscription "Sigillum Willelmi Blunvill"

Presented to the Rector of Newton Flotman in 1338 and again 1418.
He rebuilt the church in Newton Flotman in 1385, where his shield of arms is carved on the battlements of the tower.
Held a knight's fee in Newton Flotman and in Deopham in 1401.
Richard died in 1419 and since he had no children (it is not known if he married) was succeeded by the son of his brother Nicholas Blomvill (who had died in 1413).
