Charles died from injuries he received in an accident on the 27 Jun 1906. He was working as a Foreman for the Great Eastern Railway Company at the Harleston depot. A wagon, with it's door down, was being unloaded outside the goods warehouse, when it was mistakenly drawn forward, the wagon door struck the warehouse wall, causing it to collapse on top of Charles.

It is interesting to see that probate was granted in Llandudno, North Wales. Perhaps that is where his nephew, and executor of his will, Henry Charles Blunderfield was living and working at that time.
